Obituary - Maggie Carol Doll

Maggie C. Doll, 63, peacefully entered Heaven's eternal place of joy on Aug. 2, 2016, with her family by her side in Havre, Montana. Maggie passed away after a very long, painful, and courageous battle with breast cancer.

A memorial service will be held Aug. 9, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. at Fifth Avenue Christian Church in Havre.

Maggie Doll was born Aug. 16, 1952, in Missoula, Montana, to Theresa and Frank Pogachar. She attended school in Missoula and obtained a bachelor's degree in home economics in 1974.

Maggie met the love of her life, Chris Doll, and they were married in 1972. She taught home economics at Havre High School where she was loved so very much by her students.

During the years of raising their two daughters, Jolyn and Ginger, Maggie became a Tupperware manager so she could spend more time nurturing her daughters, being there for their first steps and words, teaching them all about Jesus, all about love and all about family values. She was very successful.

Maggie so very much loved her companionship with her husband, Chris. Together they worked side by side, the best of lovers and friends to the very end. Maggie was beside Chris throughout his construction years, building homes, remodeling and 28 years at Doll Cabinets. She was there with him and the girls; camping, fishing, hunting and laughing, enjoying every second of life with her family, nurturing them in love, kindness, forgiveness, and about the love for our Lord.

Maggie was a very compassionate, loving person always caring for others. She was very sociable and made friends wherever she went. She was always full of wisdom and laughter and lived life to the fullest.

Mikayla, our granddaughter, had brought so much joy and laughter into her life. Maggie loved every moment watching her grow into such a beautiful person. Christopher, our grandson, was a special blessing to Maggie to whom she was blessed to be with for a short time.

Activities such as gardening, sewing and quilt making, also volunteering at the hospital, Salvation Army, food bank and the church brought her tremendous joy.

Maggie was a very spiritual, beautiful woman who loved the Lord first and above all. Her entire life was dedicated to a Christian life of spiritual upbringing of her family, to living a life of caring, love, compassion, and sharing. She will truly be missed and remembered by family and friends. We all love you, Maggie!

Maggie is survived by her husband, Chris Doll; daughters, Jolyn (Randy) Bessette of Havre and Ginger Doll (Rick Lieberg) of Havre; her grandchildren Mikayla Voeller-Bessette of Shelby, Christopher Doll of Havre and Katie Derry of Havre; stepgrandchildren, Ricky and Sebastian Lieberg of Nebraska, Devan Bessette of Bozeman, Montana, and Breanna Bessette of Hogeland; sisters, Jenny Haynes of Glenrock, Wyoming, and Laurie Pogachar of Corvallis, Montana; brothers, John Pogachar of Spokane, Washington, Tom Pogachar of Stevensville, Montana, and Rod Pogachar of Hamilton, Montana.
