Havre Police Department

An officer issued a summons to Alexander Dennis Eakins, 27, of Havre on a charge of criminal contempt for allegations made at 8:07 a.m. Tuesday that he failed to show up for a 24/7 Sobriety Program check-in.

Erica Ann Dion, 34, of Havre was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault and violating conditions of release after a caller from a 5th Street location at 8:59 am. Tuesday said she assaulted him.

An arrest was made during investigation of a motor vehicle crash reported from 9th Street at 1:37 p.m. Tuesday. No further information about the arrest was provided.

An officer arrested Sheldon Joseph Flying, 47, of Havre on a Justice or City court warrant ofter a caller from a 6th Avenue location at 4:48 p.m. provided information to the police.

After a caller from the Amtrak station on Main Street called at 5 p.m. Tuesday and said a man broke out a window, officers arrested Modou Barrow, 30, of Williston, North Dakota, on charges of disorderly conduct and criminal mischief or vandalism. The Hill County Sheriff’s Office reported he also was arrested by a sheriff’s deputy on a charge of criminal trespass to property after a caller at 5:32 p.m. said that the man was trespassing on BNSF Railway railroad tracks and trying to get into railroad cars.

After a caller from a 3rd Street location at 7:09 p.m. Tuesday requested to meet with an officer, officers arrested Lawrence Kapualikai Duque, 18, of Havre on charges of endangering the welfare of children, minor in possession of intoxicants, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, and arrested Ruban James Steward, 19, of Havre on charges of MIP, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and social host violation.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

At 3:27 p.m. at the county jail, a deputy served a state District Court warrant on Kanen Lee Velasquez, 19, of Box Elder.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Tuesday.

Firefighters investigated a gas leak at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday on the 1000 Block of 2nd Street West.

Firefighters received an alarm which was canceled at 5:24 p.m. Tuesday from the 10 Block of 13th Street West.
