Carl F. West Jr., 75, of Havre, Montana, passed away on July 17, 2016, after a lengthy illness.
Carl has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Carl was born in Valdosta, Georgia, on May 28, 1941, to Carl West Sr. and Lois Cleyo (Griner) West and grew up in Manchester, Georgia. He joined the U.S. Marines on Oct. 18, 1958. He was honorably discharged on Oct. 17, 1974.
Carl was married to Sherry Bogut West. They had 42 years of laughter, tears and traveling. His choice of employment was restaurant management.
Carl and Sherry loved to hunt for arrowheads in Wyoming and watch action movies, especially John Wayne. Carl loved to read and had a book in his hand most of the time. He was a die-hard Denver Broncos fan.
Carl is survived by his wife, Sherry of Havre; sons, John West of New Bern, North Carolina, and Charles (Mary) West of Portland, Texas, and their children, Brandi and Charles; daughter, Rebelle McNichol of San Antonio, Texas; stepdaughters, April Brook, Katherine Hill and Peggy Held; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and nieces, Kat Stewart and Lisa Pecora.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Lois Cleyo West Sr., and his two sisters, Jimmie and Jeri.
