Rocky Boy Police teamed up with the Hill County Sheriff’s Office and Montana Highway Patrol Thursday morning in a pursuit that resulted in the suspects being caught after they fled into a field.
Hill County Sheriff Don Brostrom said his office received a call Thursday morning at 6:21 from police at Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation saying that a pursuit that began on the reservation may spill into the sheriff’s department’s jurisdiction. The pursuit crossed over into Beaver Creek Park. Brostrom said two deputies responded to the scene.
Brostrom said the suspects drove off-road into a field and later abandoned the car, fleeing on foot. They were caught and taken into custody as a result of the three agencies working together, Brostrom said.
The Rocky Boy Police Department said there was no one available to talk about the incident before deadline.
