Eldora Jean "Dora" Bauer, 59, passed away due to natural causes on Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at her residence.
Wake services will begin at 5 p.m., and a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today, Thursday, July 21, 2016, all at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rocky Boy. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 22, 2016, also at St. Mary's, and burial will follow in the Russette Family Cemetery.

Dora was born on April 20, 1957, in Fort Belknap to John and Olive (Champagne) Bauer. She was raised in Havre, attending school here.
Following her school years, she moved to Babb, and stayed there working as a bartender for two seasons.
Dora moved to Great Falls to attend beauty school and remained there for 15 years.
After moving back from Great Falls, Dora met Lee Powderface, and the couple remained together until his passing in 2004.
Dora worked for the Northern Montana Care Center as a cook for a few years, where she caught the caregiving bug. She worked for the Havre Senior Center in their home-health program until the program closed and then went to Consumer Direct, caring for people in their homes.
Dora enjoyed Facebooking, Bible study and bingo, and she loved caring for her family and her clients.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary "Lee" Powderface; her daughter, Rosalee Bauer; her sister, Katherine Bauer; her brother, Jerry Bauer; her father, John Bauer; her nephew, Stephen "Stevieman" Beggio; and her brother-in-law, Edward Lohman.
She is survived by her daughters, Leeona J. (Connor) Bauer-Green of Navato, California, and Claren O. (Jeremy Burns) Bauer of Box Elder, and her stepdaughter, Darla Lankford of Billings; her sons, Jacob J. Bauer of Havre; her stepsons, Jonlee and Greg Powderface, both of Billings; her mother, Olive Bauer of Havre; her sisters, Debbie Bauer, Audrey Bauer and Clara Bauer, all of Havre, Karen (Rawley) Gramley of Billings, and Ionia Lohman and Thea Bauer, both of Havre; her brothers, Laurence (Kim Jenkins) Bauer and Richard Bauer of Havre and Bruce Bauer of Idaho; eight grandchildren; her aunt, Joy Button of Great Falls; her uncle, Dennis (Judy) Brough of Havre; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family and friends.
