Koby Preputin shows his quilt apron and Staggy the dinosaur, judged in the Sewing and Textiles Category, to Karen Pollington, left, and Kathy Bessette. Preputin received two blue ribbons and his stuffed dinosaur Staggy was held to be judged for the grand and reserve. Bessette and Pollington said they keep the projects they can tell were done all by the 4-H'ers themselves, adding, "It's fun to see kids' improvement each year." Pollington and Bessette said they were in 4-H as children and have been judging for years.

4-H'er Mason Kinsella is interviewed by Joyce Donoven Tuesday in the Arts and Crafts Category at the Havre Middle School. Kinsella entered a drawing, a beaded basket and a collage and later entered his project informing about the amount of sugars consumed in drinks. This is his third year entering projects in 4-H. "I'm always nervous with the first (interview)," Kinsella said.
