The following cases were resolved in Hill County Justice Court by Judge Audrey Barger June 1-14.

Janna Lea Chavez, born in 1964, was fined $200 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 174 days suspended, for driving without a valid driver’s license, has never possessed one. Jayson Richard Mcguire, born in 1987, forfeited $120 bond for speeding, 97 mph in a 70 mph zone.

Jason Julian Pimentel, born in 1992, forfeited $120 bond for speeding, 98 mph in a 70 mph zone.

——

Preston Tyler Collins, born in 1985, forfeited $250 bond for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, first offense.

——

Brenda Lee Perry, born in 1967, was fined $200 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for criminal trespass to property.

——

Garrick Allan Ferguson, born in 1972, was fined $20 and forfeited $120 bond for seat belt violation.

——

Ashley Ann Bishop, born in 1986, was fined $1,500 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 120 days suspended and two credited, for theft, obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over property, third or subsequent offense.

Cindy Lou Stidham, born in 1965, was fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 days suspended, for endangering the welfare of a child, second offense.

Pamela Huston, born in 1967, was given a deferred imposition of sentence, fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for theft, obtaining or exerting control over property, first offense.

Leta Davis, born in 1987, was given a deferred imposition of sentence, fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for theft, obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over property, first offense.

Taralynn Writingbird, born in 1986, was fined $200 and sentenced to 180 day in jail, all days suspended, for driving without a valid driver’s license.

A girl born in 1999 was fined $120 and given a deferred imposition of sentenced for speeding, 100 mph in a 70 mph zone.

——

A boy born in 2002 was fined given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $200 for driving a valid driver’s license and was fined $250 for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, first offense.

Brenda Lee Perry, born in 1967, was fined $200 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for criminal trespass to property.

Tracy Daychild, born in 1993, was fined $500, ordered to pay $20.97 restitution and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 177 days suspended, for theft, obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over property, first offense.

Norman Juniper Bell, born in 1984, was fined $200 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 177 days suspended and three credited, for driving without a valid driver’s license.

Kelly Marie Mcneil, born in 1990, forfeited $100 bond for fishing without a license.

——

Anthony Morgan Stuker, born in 1990, was fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for fishing without a license.

Nathanial Wade Harmer, born in 1997, was fined $200 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 days suspended, for partner or family member assault, causing injury.

Judge Barger also dealt with 34 tickets resulting in fines of less than $100 or jail sentences of fewer than seven days, and she or the prosecution dismissed four charges. Barger also transferred seven citations to another court, issued one search warrant, held six probable cause hearings for cases out of her jurisdiction, and five suspended sentences or deferred impositions of sentencing were revoked and reinstated.
