Elaine Lee Chandler, 49, passed away due to natural causes on Friday, July 1, 2016, at Northern Montana Hospital.
Wake services will begin at noon today, Tuesday, July 5, 2016, and will continue until her funeral service, which will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, all at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rocky Boy.
Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Elaine was born on Dec. 5, 1966, in Havre, Montana, to James and Bessie (Raining Bird) Chandler. She was raised in Rocky Boy, attending school there. Soon after her school years were over, she had her son, Troy, and spent the next 20 years caring for him and taking care of her home.
In 2006, she met her future husband, Leland Collins, and the couple spent the past 10 years together. Leland passed away in April 2016.
Elaine enjoyed crosswords, word searches, old television shows and playing cards. She liked to go out walking and pick berries, and she loved to cook and visit with her friends and family.
Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, Leland Collins; her parents, James and Bessie Chandler; and her sister Carmie Chandler.
She is survived by her son, Troy Chandler of Shelby; her adopted daughter, Sharla Chandler of Great Falls; her sisters Barbara (Joe) Duboise of Box Elder and Selena Valdez of Havre; her brothers, Algie (Margaret) Piapot of Rocky Boy, Larry Piapot of Salt Lake City, Utah, Kenny Piapot of Havre and Russell (Theresa) Piapot of Rocky Boy; and numerous beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
