Obituary - Mark Steven Nelson

Mark Steven Nelson was born in Havre, Montana, June 1, 1949, to Earl and Marilyn Nelson. He was the eldest of five children.

He met Cheryl at Montana State University-Northern and they married in August 1969. They moved to Oregon in 1970, and he spent 30 years working for Freightliner as a machinist, retiring in 2004.

Mark is survived by his wife; sons, Kristofer (Hobie) and Kevin (Ildiko); and three of his siblings, Peggy, Larry and Paul.

Mark touched the lives of so many people with his caring ways and gentle soul. He will be missed by all.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Peake Funeral Chapel, Milwaukie, Oregon.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 23, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Nelson residence, 7905 SE Cypress St., Milwaukie, OR 97267.
