Search on for man in Fresno Reservoir

Police and a hundred volunteers are searching for Jerry Donoven, a Havre man who went missing in Fresno Reservoir Friday.

The search was concentrated Sunday at Kremlin Bay.

Donoven was last seen Thursday, and friends became concerned when they didn't see him on Friday. His boat was found in the water, but there was no sign of him.

Divers from Hill County Search and Rescue volunteers were taking part in the effort were Hill County Sheriff’s Deputies, Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks officers and representatives of the U.S. Border Patrol.

Numerous volunteers have also brought boats to help in the search. Others brought food and drinks for to volunteers.

Sheriff Don Brostrom said he was heartened by the community response but asked that people bringing boats, or anything else to aide with the search, report to the Kremlin Bay area to sign in.

“The last thing we want is for someone else to go missing,” he said.
