Brenda Way Rubino and Willard Fladager have qualified for the 2016 Waddell & Reed Circle of Champions conference, which recognizes the company's top financial advisers.
This year's event takes place today through Sunday in Phoenix.
This gathering - bringing together Waddell & Reed advisers from around the
nation - is held each summer in a major U.S. city. Selection is based on an analysis of investments, insurance and financial planning sales generated by the advisor. Just more than 600 advisers qualified for this year's event out of Waddell & Reed's national network of more than 1,800 financial advisers.
This is the third time Rubino has been named to the circle, and it is the 12th time for Fladager.
Great Falls-based Rubino has been a professional in the financial services industry for 13 years, and Havre-based Fladager has 19 years with the firm.
Rubino joined Waddell & Reed in 2003.
She earned bachelor's and master's degrees in business from the University of Montana. In addition, Rubino has been a certified financial planner since 2009.
Fladager holds a bachelor's degree from Eastern Montana College, now Montana State University-Billings. He joined Waddell & Reed as an advisor in 1997 and is a certified retirement plans specialist.
Rubino and Fladager formed High Plains Group in 2015 with a fellow financial advisor with Waddell & Reed, Sarah Benton. Benton brings eight years of experience to the team and
holds a certified retirement plans counselor designation.
The team serves individuals and families throughout the north-central Montana community on their personal, long-term investment goals.
