From American Red Cross
The American Red Cross will have several opportunities for area residents to donate blood in upcoming weeks.
They include:
Monday, July 11, 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at St. Jude’s Parish Center, 440 7th Ave., Havre
Tuesday, July 12, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Northern Montana Hospital, 30 13th St., Havre
Tuesday, July 12, 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Wallner Hall, 330 Ohio St., Chinook
Wednesday, July 13, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Fort Belknap Hospital, Rural Route 1
Thursday, 9 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., Triangle Communications, 2121 U.S. Highway 2 NW
To donate blood, download the American Red Cross Blood Donor App at http://www.redcrossblood.org/bloodapp, visit http://redcrossblood.org or call 1-800-RED CROSS — 1-800-733-2767 — to make an appointment or for more information.
All blood types are needed to ensure a reliable supply for patients. A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Individuals who are 17 years of age, 16 with parental consent in some states, weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood.
High school students and other donors 18 years of age and younger also have to meet certain height and weight requirements.
