Eastern Star selling fireworks

From Havre Chapter

Order of Easter Star

Havre Chapter Number 30 of the Order of Eastern Star will again sponsor the TNT Fireworks Stand.

Laurie Sageser and Bethany Neuwerth have agreed to manage the fund-raising project this season. The group plans are to have it open to the public beginning Saturday and continue through the evening of July 4.

The stand will again be located on the south side of 2nd Street West, directly south of the Holiday Village Mall, and west of the Charter Communications building.

Hours of operation will be from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and will continue to be open at 10 a.m. each day through the Fourth of July.

The TNT Fireworks products include products for children as well as adults with large and small family packs available.

A large family pack is given away to the winner in a drawing each year.

People must be 18 years of age to register for the drawing, but no purchase is necessary. A discount coupon is available by going online to TNT fireworks. com

The funds from this annual project are used by the Havre chapter to support its local charities which include a cancer fund, heart fund, the Masonic Home for the Aged in Helena, the Estarl Scholarship Fund which provides scholarships to local youth seeking a career in religious endeavors and the Electa’s Cup Fund which provides monetary gifts to Eastern Star needy members and to support and encourage local youth group projects.

During the last year, OES donated locally to the District 4 Human Resources Development Council’s Safe Haven for Spouse Abused and its foster care program.
