Claudia Paulette Bacon, Indian name "Speckled Eagle Woman" pe-pe-s-Ki-iw-is-Kwew, 37, of Rocky Boy and Havre passed surrounded by her family at Peace Hospice on Saturday evening June 18, 2016.
Her wake service began Sunday and her funeral service was at 9:30 a.m. Monday all at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Rocky Boy, Montana. Burial will follow at Rocky Boy Cemetery.

Claudia was born Dec. 29, 1978, to Frank and Barbara M. (Not Afraid) Bacon in Havre, Montana. She was raised in a traditional home and embraced her Christianity. She graduated high school and furthered her education at Weber Basin Job Corp in Ogden, Utah, where she obtained training in the secretarial field. Claudia returned to the Havre area and worked various places. She was a quick learner and very efficient in her work.
She was a compassionate soul, always willing to help others. She was very kind and generous with her time and talent. Whether it be cooking, craft work, jigsaw puzzles, reading her bible or collecting angels. The greatest joy of her life was when she became a mother to her son, Taylor Joe Orion Bacon.
She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Bacon and granddaughter, Lylah Sky Molina.
Claudia is survived by her mother, Barbara Bacon of Rocky Boy; her son, Taylor Joe Orion Bacon of Rocky Boy; her significant other, Joe Stump of Havre; one brother, Terry (Angel) Enemy Hunter of Lodge Grass; sisters, Deana (Nelson) Enemy Hunter, Francine (Bobby) Bacon, Gayle (T.C.) Bacon, Trudi (Kane) Bacon and Stephanie (Jeff) Bacon all of Rocky Boy, Amy Sloan and Marsha Whiting, both of Denver; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends that were considered family.
