Michael James Davey, 63, passed away Monday June 13, 2016, after a brief struggle with cancer. Graveside Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2016, at the Highland Cemetery.

Mike was born to Bob and Betty Davey on March 13, 1953. He was raised on the family farm. While growing up he enjoyed helping his dad with farming and ranching duties. Mike graduated from Havre High School in 1971.
He held various jobs until he started working for NorthWestern Energy, where he continued to work for 39 years until his health forced him to retire. He enjoyed all of his co-workers, and they became very good friends to him.
Mike married the love of his life, Carol Mickelson, and they remained happily married until her death March 3, 2000. Mike enjoyed socializing with his many friends and going to Scott and June Pizzini's cabin to visit and play cards. He was especially close to their son, Daniel. Mike enjoyed rock hounding and snowmobiling. Mike was a quiet, kind-hearted man and everyone who met him loved him.
Mike was preceded in death by his wife, Carol; his parents, Bob and Betty Davey; and his oldest brother, Greg.
Mike is survived by his sisters, Susan (Allan) Leens, Carolyn (Greg English) Sheppard, Debbie Keller and his brother, Martin, all of Havre. Mike is also survived by his nephews, Lance (Sara) Sheppard and Bobby (Jenne) Sheppard of Havre; his nieces, Angie Leens of Missoula, Tara (Nate) Erickson of Bozeman, Jennifer (Brandon) Matson and Ashely Davey of Havre, and Allison Locke of Port Angeles, Washington. Mike is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts and uncles, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
