Havre Public Works employee Scott Shepherd prunes trees in U.S. Bank Park on 11th Street West. Joel Cutforth of Havre Public Works said they prune about three or four trees a day; and started in U.S. Bank Park last week. Cutforth said the Public Works employees stay busy in the summer pruning trees, and he expects calls from local homeowners. Public Works can cut trees in front of the house; but not if they are on the homeowners' property. "It needs to be on the other side of the sidewalk," he said.
