News you can use
Editor:
On Wednesday, I came home to read the front page of the Havre Daily News article about the retirement of the Highland Park Early Primary School children’s librarian ShirLee Perrodin.
I had just come from a meeting between Havre-Hill County Library board members and the Hill County commissioners. We were discussing how the library can best cope with a $30,000 reduction in the library budget.
Mrs. Perrodin’s words have encouraged me, as the current president of the library’s governing body, to keep working to provide excellent library services for the children and all those taxpayers of the community.
More on this later, I’m sure.
Oh, and also, congratulations and lots of luck to Mrs. Perrodin.
Frank Miller MD
Library Board president
