A 17-year-old was issued a summons for a charge of failing to carry or produce proof of insurance and on a Justice or City court warrant after a two-vehicle motor vehicle crash on 4th Street that was reported Thursday at 10:18 a.m. No injuries were reported.

Officers investigated a shoplifting report after a caller from a 1st Street business reported Thursday at 11:09 a.m. that a man left with a ceiling fan. An arrest was made, but no further information was provided.

An officer initiated investigation of a problem with a package from USPS reported Thursday at 12:12 p.m.

Officers investigated a report of found property after a 3rd Street caller reported Thursday at 12:21 p.m. a red Huffy bicycle.

Officers investigated a theft report after a 10th Avenue caller reported Thursday at 4:23 p.m. that a black BMX bicycle with pink rims had been stolen.

Brian George Gilmartin, 75, of Havre was issued a summons for a dog a large charge after someone reported Thursday at 6:58 p.m. that a man was walking a dog without a leash and letting it run around.

Officers investigated a theft report after a 10th Street West caller reported Thursday at 8:44 p.m. that her brother had stolen a tablet.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Sheriff’s office dispatch logs reported no investigations or arrests Thursday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Thursday and one call this morning.

Fire crews responded to a call Thursday at 3:32 p.m. at the 600 Block of 12th Street after cable workers found melted wires in a home, but found that no wires had been crossed and no further action was necessary.

Fire crews responded to a fire alarm at 1:23 a.m. today on the 300 Block of 13th Street, where a fire alarm had been activated. The alarm was determined to be faulty.
