Byron D. Seely, 58, of Spokane, Washington, passed away at his home on April 13, 2016.
Graveside services will be held on May 7, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Conrad Memorial Cemetery in Kalispell, Montana, with military honors. Pastor Michael Mattock will officiate.
Services and arrangements have been contracted to Buffalo Hill Funeral Home of Kalispell.
Byron was born Sept. 20, 1957, in Glasgow, Montana, to Albert and Marian (Ellis) Seely. At a young age, they moved to Havre. Byron attended school in Havre. He graduated from Havre High School in 1976. He joined the U.S. Navy after graduation. He was honorably discharged. Upon his discharge, he moved to Spokane, Washington, and became a carpenter and specialized in stained glass doors, working for different companies.
Byron enjoyed woodworking, golfing, darts and camping.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Guy and Eleanor Seely, and Ralph and and Madiline Ellis; his father, Albert; and his brother, Mark.
Byron is survived by his mother, Marian Seely of Havre; brothers, Larry (Fransetta) Seely, Bert (Leslie) Seely of Havre; sister-in-law, Valery Seely of Billings, Montana; aunt, Kathleen (Greg) Garrett of Puyallup, Washington; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews, all of Montana.
A memorial service will be held in Havre at a later date to be announced.
