Havre Police Department

A 16-year-old was issued a summons on charges of under-age tobacco possession or consumption and driving without a driver’s license after a caller reported Thursday at 9:43 a.m. that her daughter left school and may be driving without a driver’s license.

Officers investigated a theft report after someone came to the police station Thursday at 10:41 a.m. and reported stolen checks.

Officers investigated an incident in which a Montana State University-Northern staff member reported Thursday at 11:08 a.m. that a staff member was verbally assaulted.

Chauncey Francis Gray, 35, of Havre was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault after a 7th Street caller reported Thursday at 2:26 p.m. that a man was trying to take their TV.

Officers investigated a complaint after someone came into the police station Thursday at 5:35 p.m. and asked to speak to an officer about a stalking issue.

Officers investigated a report of suspicious activity after an 11th Street caller reported Thursday at 5:51 p.m. that a blow dart was stuck in the siding of her house.

Officers made two arrests this morning during a motor vehicle stop at 12:05 on 5th Avenue. No further information was provided.

Alexander Lynn Proffitt, 23, of Havre was arrested on charges of aggravated driving under the influence and a tail light violation during a motor vehicle stop this morning at 2:12 on 5th Avenue.

Officers made two arrests this morning at 2:15 on 2nd Avenue. Amber Rose Kirkaldie, 33, of Havre was arrested on charges of obstructing a peace officer and criminal contempt. Megan Rae Martin, 30, of Havre was arrested on a charge of obstructing a peace officer and a Justice or City court warrant.

Officers made two arrests after responding to a report that came in this morning at 2:49 from a 5th Avenue and 10th Street caller about a man yelling at passing cars. Jordan Patrick Lamphier, 25, of Havre was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct and Samantha Randolf Goodrum, 23, of Havre was arrested on a charge of disroderly conduct.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated a report of a burglary after a 4th Street caller reported Thursday at 10:43 p.m. that a cabin had been broken into.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Thursday and three calls today.

A boy was born Wednesday, April 27, 2016 to Bernadette “Beda” Rider and Lonnie Walter Brown of Fort Belknap.
