Hi-Line Athletes of the Week

Brooke Nicholson, Chinook Tennis

Chinook's Brooke Nicholson has already had an incredible senior season, earning All-State honors in both volleyball and basketball. But, she might be saving her best for last. Nicholson went a perfect 6-0 last week as Chinook's No. 1 singles player, winning two matches against the Havre Blue Ponies and four matches at last weekend's Fort Benton Invitational. Nicholson placed third in Class B-C singles a year ago, and she's considered one of the favorites to win a state championship later this spring.

Damon Adams, Harlem Track

It's been a good season thus far for Harlem sprinter Damon Adams. But last week was beyond good. Adams won four races in two track meets last week, and so far this season, he has placed in the 400 and 200 meters at every meet he's attended. Last Tuesday, Adams won both the 200 and 400 at the Scottie Qualifier in Glasgow, and he followed that up with wins in the 200 and 400 at last Saturday's Cut Bank Invitational. Adams is also a standout on the football field for the Wildcats.
