Hovet graduates from Boot Camp

Pvt. Jonathan Jared Hovet, 20, of Billings graduated from United States Marine Corps Boot Camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego April 15.

Hovet successfully completed 13 weeks of intensive basic training at MCRD San Diego as one of 61 recruits in Training Platoon 3273. While in recruit training, Hovet achieved expert in rifleman.

Following 10 days home on leave he will report to Camp Pendleton for one month at Military Combat Training. He will then be stationed for his MOS training. Private Hovet is the son of Heather Hovet of Billings and Jon Hovet of Havre.
