Officers assisted a citizen after a call Thursday at 9:19 a.m. from a 1st Street business reporting a problem with a child exchange.

Officers investigated a report of theft after someone came into the police station Thursday at 10:23 a.m. to report three missing laptops.

Officers investigated a report of vandalism after a 5th Avenue business caller reported Thursday at 2:50 p.m. that someone damaged the door trying to break into the business.

Officers investigated Thursday at 4:13 p.m. a two-vehicle, noninjury crash on 1st Street West.

Officers investigated a report of theft after a 2nd Street caller reported Thursday at 5 p.m. that her TVs had been stolen and pawned.

Officers investigated a report of suspicious activity after a caller from Northern Montana Hospital requested an officer at Thursday at 8:43 p.m.

Joseph Nicholas Demaio, 45, of Havre was arrested today at 1:55 a.m. near 10th Street on charges of driving under the influence and other.

Alanna Marie Newbauer, 41, of Missoula was arrested at a 2nd Avenue location this morning at 3:56 on two counts of partner or family member assault and a Justice of City court warrant after a caller reported that his daughter was drunk and assaulted his friend.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Billie Rae Dupree, 38, of Poplar was arrested Thursday at 4:40 p.m. at the Hill County Detention Center on a Justice or City court warrant.

Thomas Mark Mohar, 24, of Havre was arrested on a theft charge after a caller from U.S. Highway 2 West business reported Thursday at 6:30 p.m. that an employee had been caught stealing.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls Thursday and one today.

Fire crews responded to a call to the 1200 Block of 4th Street Thursday at 9:10 a.m. Responders found the carbon monoxide detector to be faulty.
