A set of chairs and a table are decorated for auction in A Seat at the Table fundraiser to help buy food for needy children.
People will bew able to bid on some finely decorated chairs, eat some Indian tacos and play some games Saturday at 5 p.m. at the Havre Eagles Club.
Northern Montana Child Development Center and District 4 HRDC will sponsor the event to help pay for food for children in tough economic conditions.
Jennifer Graham of the development center said some of the money will be used to buy healthy snack packs for kids, while some will be spent on food baskets for students.
"Food stamps often aren't enough," she said.
