Agenda: H. Earl Clack Memorial Museum Board

The H. Earl Clack Memorial Museum Board will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the Best Western Plus Havre Inn & Suites, 1425 Highway 2, NW, Havre,

The agenda:

1. Roll call of members

2. Reading and approval of minutes

3. Museum manager’s report

4. Wahkpa Chu’gn manager’s report

5. The foundation report, There will be a review of work on the Havre History Center, and a report that the North East Door has been installed, which will serve as the entrance for the History Center during the first phase of the reconstruction. There will also be a discussion that the old, pink, garage has been totally removed. The ramp for handicap access will be placed where the garage was in due course. Some of the doors may be closed off.

6. Committee reports:

a. Education and programs – Summer Lecture Series.

b. Budget and Finance

c. Displays

d. Bylaws

7. Unfinished business: Discuss Spring Downton Abbey Tea event, which will be Saturday, April 30. The tea is a fundraiser for the Havre History Center and will also involve the raffle of the quilt on display at the west end of the mall.

8. New business:

a. National parks centennial – Going-to-the-Sun tourists – Great Northern relief map –discussion – event?

b. Living History Weekend – June 4 at 1:30 p.m., discussion of program for weekend – volunteers?

c. Discuss raffle of quilt donated and on display at the west end of mall with the Great Northern map relief. The drawing will be held during the Downton Abbey Tea, which will be on Saturday, April 30.

d. The Montana Dinosaur Trail Facility executive summary is being worked on by Victor Bjornberg and will be sent before the annual meeting. The Dinosaur Trail annual meeting is April 23 in Chouteau. Jim and Teresa Spangelo are going to the meeting.

The H. Earl Clack Memorial Museum Board will meet next on Monday, May 9, 7 p.m., in the conference room, at the Best Western Plus Havre Inn & Suites, 1425 Highway 2 NW, Havre.
