From Independence Bank
Mike Kellam has been promoted to a loan officer at Independence Bank, serving ag and commercial customers. He previously served as a credit analyst at the bank and worked for Triangle Communications before starting at the bank in 2014.
Kellam grew up on the family ranch south of Chinook and graduated from Chinook High School. He attended Montana State University in Bozeman and finished his business degree in Havre at Montana State University-Northern.
"We are very pleased to see Mike step into this new role at Independence Bank," said Bill Keller, chief credit officer and vice president lending at the bank. "Mike's agricultural background and work history give him real insight to the issues facing our customers in their ag operations and their main street businesses."
During his free time, Kellam said, he enjoys helping out on the family ranch, hunting and golfing. He added that he and his wife, Lindsay, and their two daughters enjoy supporting Northern athletics and participate in the Adopt-A-Light/Skylight program.
