Melinda Rose Cochran, 34, of Havre was arrested Wednesday at 9:11 a.m. on 17th Street West for violating parole.

Officers investigated a report of theft after someone came to the police station Wednesday at 1:33 p.m. to report identity theft.

Officers investigated a report of suspicious activity Wednesday at 2:33 p.m. at a 3rd Street West address after a caller asked for a welfare check on a resident.

Officers investigated a motor vehicle crash near the tennis courts by Havre High School Wednesday at 5:09 p.m. after a caller reported her son’s vehicle was backed into at the tennis courts.

Andrea D. Beckman, 40, of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, was issued a summons on a charge of having a vicious dog after a caller from 5th Street reported Wednesday at 6:45 p.m. that her son was bitten by a dog.

Brandon Tyler Gilhan, 21, of Frazer was issued a summons on a charge of criminal mischief, vandalism, after a caller from Northern Montana Hospital reported this morning that there was “blood all over the carpets.”

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies made an arrest Wednesday at 9:49 a.m. at a 4th Avenue address. No further information was provided.

Brandon James Sutherland, 33, of Box Elder was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants after a caller from a U.S. Highway 87 business in Box Elder reported people in the parking lot were “waving gun around.”

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Wednesday.

Fire crews responded Wednesday at 11:49 a.m. to the 1300 Block of Jefferson Ave. to what turned out to be a false alarm.
