Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a complaint after a 1st Street Northeast caller reported Thursday at 12:20 p.m. that officers were needed because a man was disputing property damage and “causing a problem.”

A 16-year-old was issued a summons Thursday at the police station at 1:19 p.m. on charges of youth in need of intervention and juvenile curfew violation after a caller reported his granddaughter was missing and hadn’t been to school in two days.

Officers investigated a two-vehicle, noninjury crash Thursday at 3:36 p.m. on 3rd Avenue.

Officers arrested Alexander Dennis Eakins, 26, of Havre on charges of two counts of disorderly conduct and obstructing a peace officer after a caller from a 4th Street business reported Thursday at 3:56 p.m. a fight.

Officers investigated a complaint after a 5th Avenue caller reported Thursday at 4:40 p.m. that she saw a dog attack a little boy.

Joshua David Rainingbird, 34, of Box Elder was arrested on a charge of criminal trespass to property after a caller from Lincoln Avenue reported needing assistance Thursday at 5:49 p.m.

Officers initiating investigation of suspicious activity made two arrests Monday at 10:25 p.m.. No further information has been given.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies arrested Michael Dion Fisk, 44, of Havre on two Justice or City court warrants Thursday at 3:26 p.m. at Hill County Detention Center.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to five calls Thursday and one today.

Fire crews responded to a call Thursday at 12:46 p.m. to a 1st Street and 3rd Avenue address, where residents said they smelled a gas odor. The smell was determined to be sewer gas and no further action was necessary.

A girl was born Sunday, March 20, 2016, to Amber and Garrit Ophus of Havre.
