Havre Police Department

Damian Michael Bartel, 23, of Havre was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant Monday at 1:25 p.m. and taken to Hill County Detention Center.

A 17-year-old Havre girl was arrested at juvenile probation Monday at 3:15 p.m. on a state District Court warrant.

Officers investigated a 6:06 p.m. Monday report of a maroon Ford Explorer hitting a building in the alley off Montana Avenue then driving away.

Officers investigated an alcohol theft reported at 1:52 a.m. today from an 11th Street West business.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated a report of a four-wheeler theft called in from U.S. Highway 2 East at 8:22 a.m. Monday.

Deputies investigated an 11:15 a.m. Monday disturbance report of a possible gun shot at the caller or into the air behind a U.S. Highway 2 West business.

Deputies investigated the theft of a pickup box trailer, stolen from a 1st Street West business and reported at the police station at 12:03 p.m. Monday.

Adam Ledeau Jr., 45, of Helena was arrested on a state District Court warrant at the detention center Monday at 4:54 p.m.

Deputies assisted another agency with a motor vehicle crash at 2:07 a.m. today after two horses were reported hit on U.S. Highway 87.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Monday and one call this morning.

Fire crews were called to a 3rd Avenue establishment in response to a shorted-out electrical outlet. Crews unplugged an electrical device, turned off the breaker and investigated the burn site. No damage was detected beyond the outlet and an electrical cord.
