Big Sandy man wins lottery

Jerry LaBuda of Big Sandy won a jackpot of $37,210 playing Montana Lottery's Treasure Play games at Gallery Lounge in Havre early in March.

LaBuda, 49, said he was at the Gallery Lounge with friends, says to the Montana Lottery news release.

"The whole bar was playing," LaBuda said, referring to the games.

LaBuda's friends left, and he played the MT Slots and that's when he won. Afterward, he said, he had to sit for a while and absorb what had happened.

"The bartender didn't even believe it," he said.

Labuda is an assistant service manager and he plans on taking his daughter, who will be turning 21 soon, on a vacation.
