Donald Edward Kenny, 92, of Havre died March 4, at home in Havre less than two months after the death of his beloved wife, Louise Webb Kenny. They had been married nearly 60 years.
A military graveside service will take place Monday, March 21, at 11 a.m. at Highland Cemetery in Havre.

Don was born Sept. 26, 1923, in Turner to Clara Anderson Kenny and Edward Kenny. He graduated from Turner High School and then joined the U.S. Army shortly after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. He fought in the Pacific Theater, including on Guam and in the liberation of the Philippine Islands.
After World War II, he worked in the wholesale and retail grocery business. On April 21, 1956, he married Louise in Great Falls. They moved to Havre where they owned and operated Marra Grocery for many years. Later, Don worked for Havre Distributors until his retirement.
He was an avid fly fisherman and enjoyed hunting and gardening. He loved to share his backyard produce with friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; children Donna Lou Magis and Greg Kenny; his sisters, Thurza, Margie and Viola; and sister-in-law, Donna Webb.
Survivors include his son Don Kenny; daughter-in-law, Lucena Kenny; grandson, Christopher Magis; and brother-in-law, Hal Webb. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
