Press release
Hi-Line United Soccer has announced that its clinic to nationally certify referees for work at youth matches throughout the United States has been rescheduled to Saturday.
The U.S. Soccer Federation entry-level course, which normally lasts two to three days but has been abbreviated to one day for the Havre event, will prepare officials for refereeing youth matches through the high school level.
The clinic will be held at Northern Montana Hospital from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. A clinic and certification fee of $65 is charged, but Hi-Line United Soccer has offered to reimburse the fee for any referee who officiates at a match for the club this upcoming season.
Several hours of online work are required before attending the clinic.
This will be the first soccer federation clinic in Havre. It is available in Helena, Billings, Kalispell and Livingston, and clinics lasting several days are held in Miles City and Great Falls.
