Dane Warp, Havre Basketball
Dane Warp has done a lot of special things in his football and basketball careers. But it certainly looks like the Blue Pony senior, and Carroll College basketball commit has saved his best for last. Warp averaged 29 ppg at the Eastern A divisional tournament two weeks ago in Billings, and followed that up with an average of 30 ppg and 8 rebounds per game during four games at last weekend's Class A state tournament in Missoula. His incredible performance will net him a third straight All-State selection in hoops. He is already a four-timer in football.
Jaylynn Mitchell, Rocky Boy Basketball
The Rocky Boy Morning Stars saw their season come to an end at this past weekend's Northern B tournament in Choteau. But, not before they played some of their best basketball of the year. And Jaylynn Mitchell certainly helped the Morning Stars, who came within one win of a shot at advancing to the state tournament. Mitchell averaged 13 points and five rebounds per game for the Morning Stars, who lost a tight battle with Choteau in Saturday's loser-out game. Mitchell scored a game-high 19 points in Rocky Boy's first-round loss to Glasgow.
