Adrienne Miller has been chosen as one of Havre High School's February 2016 Student of the Month.
Adrienne's parents are Raymond and Margaret Miller. Her siblings are Lauren, 19, and Michelle Erickson, 37.
Adrienne participates in cross country and works at Dairy Queen and Timber Creek Village. In her spare time, Adrienne enjoys outdoor activities such as running, hiking and swimming. She also enjoys reading and spending time with her friends.
Colleen Patera nominated Adrienne based on how hard Adrienne works. She is taking several advanced-placement classes this year, in addition to a class at Montana State University-Northern. Patera praised Adrienne for balancing school, work, family and personal life and handling the pressure well, adding that Adrienne is eager to help her teachers and classmates.
Future plans for Adrienne include going to Montana State University in Bozeman for nursing with a focus on anesthesia.
Savanna Pierson also was chosen as one of Havre High School's Students of the Month for February 2016.
Savanna is the daughter of Bette and Cory Pierson.
As a senior at Havre High School, Savanna participates in marching, pep, jazz and symphonic bands. She is also active in Belle Voix, A Capella Choir and Key Club. Outside of school, Savanna participates in Youth Group and enjoys art, music, baking and the "Binding of Isaac" video game.
Anna Joy nominated Savanna for work in her accounting class.
"Savanna has proven to have a good work ethic, a high level of intelligence, and a willingness to help and work with her peers," Joy said.
Joy also said she has enjoyed having Savanna in class and appreciates the quiet leadership Savanna offers her classmates.
Savanna plans on attending Montana State University-Northern for her general credits and then Montana State University in Bozeman for accounting.
