Lights, Skylights crown Saints

The Montana State University-Northern men's and women's basketball teams had big home games with Carroll College Friday night. And, both teams finished the night with big wins.

The No. 17 Skylights moved into a second-place tie in the Frontier standings by knocking off 15th-ranked Carroll 55-45 Friday night in Havre. Cydney Auzenne scored 19 points to help the Skylights beat Carroll for the first time this season, as well as sweep a pair of nationally-ranked opponents in the Armory.

Later, the Northern men also beat Carroll for the first time this year. In an entertaining contest, the Lights hit eight second-half 3-pointers on their way to a 69-60 win over the No. 15 Saints. Northern improved to 6-10 in the Frontier Conference, which should have them in 5th place with two games to go.
