Independence Bank gets highest rating on health

Independence Bank of Havre has received an A-plus health rating from DepositAccounts.com.

This is the eighth quarter in a row the bank received the highest rating possible from the website.

About 10 percent of the 6,200 banks evaluated get the high rating, a DepositAccounts spokesman said.

Each institution is graded on a number of factors, including capitalization, deposit growth, and loan to reserve ratios, in order to determine a comprehensive health rating.
