Charles Walter Browne, 63, of Williston, North Dakota, was arrested on a charge of theft of labor or services after a caller from the Amtrak station reported Tuesday at 1:15 p.m. that a passenger needed to be removed.

Deputies investigated a report of theft after someone from a U.S. Highway 2 business reported Tuesday at 11:34 a.m. that a vehicle was stolen off the lot.

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Tuesday and two calls this morning.

Fire crews responded to a call on the 1100 Block of 26th Avenue West Tuesday at 12:41 p.m. An electrical arch in the engine compartment set the vehicle on fire. The fire was put out and no one was hurt. The damage to the vehicle was irreversible.
