Court sentences Havre stabber to 100 years behind bars
Justice Brown, the young man who repeatedly stabbed three Montana State University-Northern students last May, was sentenced to 100 years in prison Thursday afternoon in court.
District Court Judge Daniel Boucher followed Hill County Attorney Gina Dahl's recommendation and sentenced Brown to 100 years in the Montana State Prison for each of the three counts of attempted deliberate homicide, and 40 years for aggravated burglary. The 100 years was also the plea agreement. The four sentences will be served at the same time, with none suspended.
