Obituary - Robert Henry Neuwerth

Robert Henry Neuwerth, 63, passed away Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016, in the Great Falls hospital.

Schnider Funeral Home has been entrusted with his cremation.

Robert was born on March 4, 1953, in Havre, Montana, to Carolyn (Woodward) and Karl Neuwerth. He was raised in Havre and graduated from Havre High School in 1971. He worked as a journeyman bricklayer for much of his adult life.

He enjoyed playing the guitar and exploring the computer. He built his own home where he was proud of living "off the grid" and loved the scenery of his simple home, no matter if it were summer or winter.

Robert was always a kind and gentle soul who enjoyed discussing philosophy and sparkled with generous enthusiasm during conversations whether they were online or in person.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carolyn and Karl Neuwerth.

Robert is survived by Don and Susan Neuwerth of Rawlins, Wyoming, Bill and Linda Neuwerth of Central Point, Oregon, Richard and Sheila Neuwerth of Havre, Karyl (Neuwerth) and Daniel Goldsmith of Sedona, Arizona, and Emilie Neuwerth and Curt Feldbrugge of Great Falls, Montana.

A memorial is being planned for family, friends and colleagues in June in Havre.
