Officers investigated a 12:09 p.m. Tuesday report of a woman walking in the middle of 1st Avenue.

Whitney Allyson Lamere, 28, of Box Elder was arrested on a charge of shoplifting after officers responded to a 12:54 p.m. Tuesday report of a combative shoplifter at a 1st Street business.

Officers investigated a report of money stolen at a 7th Street residence, reported Tuesday at 7:34 p.m.

Bo Bryan Michel, 18, of Havre was issued a summons on a charge of minor in possession and Stephen Wayne Turner, 38, of Havre was issued a summons on a charge of unlawful transactions with children, after Turner called at 12:18 a.m. today to report suspicious activity at an 11th Street West residence.

Joseph Don Wetsit, 21, of Havre was arrested on a charge of criminal contempt after a Smithville Road resident reported at 3:44 this morning someone was trying to get into her house.

Officers investigated a report this morning at 3:56 that a vehicle had hit the loading dock at the BNSF Railway Annex and then left, southbound on 5th Avenue.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies made no formal investigations and had no arrests over night.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call early this morning.

Fire crews responded to a fire alarm at 9:05 p.m. Tuesday on the 300 Block of 14th Street. The alarm was responding to cooking smoke from the adjacent apartment.
