Carroll sweeps Northern in the Armory

It was a big night in the Armory Gymnasium with four nationally-ranked NAIA teams taking the floor. But in the end, it was mostly just big for visiting Carroll College.

In a showdown between No. 5 Carroll and No. 2 MSU-Northern, the Fighting Saints edged the Skylights 55-49 in a great defensive battle. Northern dropped to 2-2 in Frontier play.

In the men's game, the No. 16 Saints were also up to the task, as they beat the No. 23 Lights 72-69, dropping Northern to 1-3 in the Frontier.

Both the Lights and Skylights will be back home next Friday night to host Montana Tech, and Saturday to host Lewis-Clark State.
