Duck season closes today in Central Flyway, geese to close, then reopen

For the Central Flyway — which includes all of the counties in Fish, Wildlife and Parks Region 6 east of Hill County — duck and coot season will close today.

Goose season in the Central Flyway will close Sunday, and then reopen for five days, Jan. 16-20.

For the Pacific Flyway — which includes Hill County — duck, coot and goose seasons will close Sunday and then reopen for five days, Jan. 16-20.
