Travis Adams, Havre High Wrestling

Havre High senior Travis Adams finished his 2015 wrestling season strong. And, he started 2016 even better. This weekend in Bozeman, Adams went 3-0 in heavyweight matches against Butte High, Bozeman High and Belgrade, with a pair of pins. Adams, a returning Class A state champion, has been dominant all season long, with his only losses coming at the prestigious Tri-State Classic last month in Idaho. Adams was also a Class A All-State football player for the Ponies this fall.

Tyrah Gopher, Box Elder Girls Basketball

The Box Elder girls basketball team is off to a great start this season. And the Bears are loaded with talented players. But, senior Tyrah Gopher is having a big impact on Box Elder's success thus far. Gopher is averaging 10 points and nine rebounds per game for the balanced Bears this season, who are 4-0 and 2-0 in District 9C play. Gopher is a returning All-Conference player who helped Box Elder reach the Northern C Divisional tourney last year. Gopher also played volleyball for the Bears.
