Havre Police Department

Officers made two arrests after a call from a 1st Street address at 12:40 p.m. Tuesday. Leroy Michael Stiffarm, 50, of Havre was arrested on a criminal contempt charge; Jason Skidmore, 32, of Hays was arrested on a charge of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and on two Justice or City court warrants.

Officers investigated a two-vehicle crash on 8th Street after someone called to report it at 1:37 p.m. Tuesday.

Leighton Scott Heppner, 26, of Dodson was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants at a U.S. Highway West business after someone called with a visual on the man Tuesday at 1:59 p.m.

Officers investigated a complaint of a window being shot with a BB gun Tuesday after a 3:19 p.m. call from a 1st Street address.

Officers investigated a complaint of theft, that happened over the holidays, Tuesday after a 3:42 p.m. call from a Smithville Road residence.

Officers investigated Tuesday at 7:21 p.m. a case where a vehicle was hit in the parking lot of Northern Montana Hospital.

Stephanie Shawn Cochran, 23, of Havre was arrested on Justice or City court warrants and charges of obstructing a peace officer and criminal contempt Tuesday at 10:08 p.m. at the police station.

Shelby Lynn Walker, 23, of Harlem was arrested this morning at 3:03 at the Hill County Detention Center on a Justice or City court warrant.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies assisted Montana Highway Patrol troopers Tuesday at 8:31 p.m. at a 2nd Street West apartment complex with investigating stolen items related to a search warrant.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to five calls Tuesday.

Fire crews responded to a 10:05 p.m. call Tuesday on the 100 Block of Washington Street to assist residents with properly installing a smoke detector.
