Pedestrian killed on Highway 87 near Havre

A pedestrian was struck and killed while walking on Highway 87 south of Havre Friday night.

The victim's name has not been released.

According to KRTV, Montana Highway Patrol said a pickup hit the victim near Mile Marker 105, south of Havre.

Highway patrol said the death appears to have been an accident and no charges have been fled against the driver.
