The following cases were resolved by Havre City Judge Virginia Seigel in July.
A woman born in 1993 and a minor when charged was fined $100 for minor in possession, under age 18, first offense. In a later case, the girl was fined $200 for MIP, under 18, first offense.
A woman born in 1992 and a minor when charged was fined $250 for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, first offense, was fined $100 for driving without a driver’s license in possession, amended from driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked; and was fined $200 for failing to give notice of accident by quickest means, apparent damage more than $500.
Natasha Lynn Peck, born in 1989, was fined $100, sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, and given a deferred imposition of sentence for endangering the welfare of a child, first violation.
Kaine William Hanson, born in 1982, was fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 days suspended and two credited, for criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.
Heidi Michelle Harrington, born in 1979, was fined $100, sentenced to 365 days in jail, 364 days suspended and one credited, and given a deferred imposition of sentence for partner or family member assault.
Shawntea Renea Gillespie, born in 1993, was found guilty of careless driving, no fine or sentence listed.
Dale Albert Cure, born in 1986, was sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, third or subsequent offense, amended from second offense, and was fined $100 for operating a vehicle with expired registration.
Sheldon Joseph Flying, born in 1969, was fined $500 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for resisting arrest. In a later case, Flying was fined $1,500, ordered to pay $200 restitution and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 126 days suspended and 54 credited, for theft, obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over property, first offense. In a subsequent case, Flying was fined $500 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for criminal trespass to property.
Steven Paul Evans, born in 1958, was fined $100 for following too closely.
Tomi Nichole Bunney, born in 1988, was fined $200, sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 days suspended and two credited, and given a deferred imposition of sentence for criminal possession of marijuana, first offense, and was fined $200, sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, and given a deferred imposition of sentence for criminal possession of drug paraphernalia. In a later case, Bunney was fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 177 days suspended and three credited, for resisting arrest and was sentenced to 180 days in jail, 177 days suspended and three credited, for obstructing a peace officer or other public servant.
David Nelson Jr., born in 1987, was fined $250 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 179 days suspended and one credited, for operating a vehicle with .08 percent blood alcohol concentration, first offense, amended from driving under the influence.
Anthony Demetrius Humphrey Jr., born in 1988, was fined $300 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 177 days suspended and one credited, for driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked; was fined $500 and sentenced to 365 days in jail, 362 days suspended and one credited, for partner of family member assault, causing injury, second offense, amended from first offense; and was fined $500 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for criminal contempt.
Paul Dan Root, born in 1994, was fined $300, sentenced to 365 days in jail, 364 days suspended and one credited, and given a deferred imposition of sentence for partner or family member assault, causing injury.
Karol Lee Hudson, born in 1968, was fined $700 and sentenced to 365 days in jail, all days suspended, for negligent endangerment, amended from DUI, first offense.
Ronald James Miles, born in 1968, was sentenced to 180 days in jail, 159 days suspended and 21 credited, for theft, obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over property, second offense.
Jeffery Obryant Jones, born in 1978, was fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 177 days suspended and three credited, for resisting arrest and was sentenced to 180 days in jail, 177 days suspended and three credited, for obstructing a peace officer or other public servant.
Henry James Daychild Jr., born in 1978, was fined $100, sentenced to 365 days in jail, 361 days suspended and four credited, and given a deferred imposition of sentence for partner of family member assault, causing injury, and was fined $100, sentenced to 180 days in jail, 176 days suspended and four credited, and given a deferred imposition of sentence for resisting arrest.
Dawn Faye Vanek, born in 1983, was fined $1,000 and sentenced to 365 days in jail, 364 days suspended and one credited, for aggravated DUI; was fined $500 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 days suspended and two credited, for driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked; and was fined $500 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for each of five counts of criminal contempt.
James Daniel Reynolds, born in 1993, was fined $1,000 and sentenced to 365 days in jail, 335 days suspended and five days credited, for DUI, third offense, amended from aggravated DUI; was fined $250 for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, first offense; was fined $550 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 days suspended and two credited, for driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked; and was fined $500 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 155 days suspended, for criminal contempt.
Derek Paul Converse, born in 1984, was fined $50 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for obstructing a peace officer or other public servant.
Kyle Andrew Surber, born in 1988, was fined $25 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, nine days suspended and one credited, for disorderly conduct.
Donald Patrick Mayer, born in 1974, was fined $2,000 and sentenced to 365 days in jail, 335 days suspended and one credited, for DUI, third offense.

Drew John Cole, born in 1980, was fined $100 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for disorderly conduct and was fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for each of two charges: obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and resisting arrest. In a later case, Cole was sentenced to 180 days in jail, 166 days suspended and four credited, for criminal contempt. Tanya Lee Vastine, born in 1990, was fined $100, sentenced to 90 days in jail, all days suspended, and was given a deferred imposition of sentence for assault.
Jessica Siya Lilleberg, born in 1991, was fined $300 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 179 days suspended and one credited, for DUI non-narcotic drugs, first offense.
Samuel Descharme, born in 1975, was fined $250 for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, first offense.
Tammie L. Laforge, born in 1967, was fined $50 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for criminal contempt. In a later case, Laforge was fined $50 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for disorderly conduct.

Rueben Loran Stump, born in 1974, was fined $1,500 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 148 days suspended and one credited, for theft, obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over property, third or subsequent offense.
Dwight Owen Standingrock, born in 1989, was fined $50 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, eight days suspended and two credited, for disorderly conduct.
In July, Judge Seigel also dealt with 60 tickets resulting in fines of less than $100 or jail sentences of fewer than seven days, as well as 43 charges that were dismissed by her or the prosecution.
