Montana Actors' Theatre will begin its run of "A Seussified Christmas Carol" this Friday at Montana State University-Northern's Little Theatre.
The play by Peter Bloedel is an adaption of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" featuring the offbeat characters, odd scenery and rhyming verse synonymous with Dr. Seuss' children's literature.
Andi Daniel, one of the directors, said overseeing the production has been a fun experience.
"Each actor plays three or four different roles, so that has been part of the challenge and the fun part of it," said Daniel.
"A Seussified Christmas Carol" debuts at 8 p.m Friday.
There will be repeat performances at 8 p.m. Dec. 5, 11, 12, 18, 19, 21 and 22. Matinee performances are scheduled for Sunday Dec. 13, and Sunday, Dec. 20, at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students, seniors and members of the military and $5 for children 10 and under. Students at Montana State University-Northern get free admission when they show a valid ID.
