Obituary - Alice Woolway

Alice Woolway of Bakersfield, California, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015, at the age of 98.

Alice was born in 1917, on a homestead south of Hingham, Montana, to Steve and Cora Welsh. She was a teacher who taught on the Hi-Line and in California for many years. Later, she retired in a teachers retirement home where she peacefully passed.

She was preceded in death by one daughter; two husbands; and several sisters and brothers.

She is survived by one brother, Orville “Swede” Welsh of Havre.

The family is grateful for the condolences but declines flowers or donations.
