1:40 p.m. Havre Police Chief Gabe Matosich said police apprehended the suspect that locked down Havre public buildings. Matosich said the suspect was apprehended near the 100 Block of 5th Avenue.
A reporter saw that the suspect was apprehended in the building that holds the Social Security office and Western Drug Pharmacy.

Some public buildings including Havre schools are on lockdown as law enforcement looks for an escaped prisoner considered dangerous.
Havre police issued a press release saying they are looking for Gabriel Arkinson, 29, who who was being transported by Fort Belknap Indian Reservation police.
Arkinson, who is reportedly handcuffed and shackled, escaped from a transport van on 1st Street and 6th Avenue in Havre.
He was reportedly traveling south on foot in the 6th Avenue area.
He is considered dangerous, and members of the public are asked not to approach him and to contact law enforcement immediately if he is seen.
Along with the schools, the Hill County Courthouse and Bullhook Community Health Center also were put on lockdown.
According to the release, Arkinson was being held on charges of attempted homicide, attempted aggravated assault, assault on a peace officer, criminal endangerment and a previous escape charge.
A text alert from the Havre Public Schools about 12:16 p.m. said the schools are under lockdown, and the school district would be cooperating with law enforcement.
Another alert about 12:24 p.m. said the schools are continuing to hold class and students would stay inside for recess.
"Making plans to exit safely at end of day," the alert said.
