Obituary - Carol L. (Geldard) Butterfield

Carol L. (Geldard) Butterfield of Farmington, New Mexico, was born March 13, 1946, and died Nov. 11, 2015. She passed away peacefully at home early Wednesday morning.

Carol was born in Havre Montana. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gale Butterfield; parents, Harry and Alice Geldard; brother, Charles; daughter, Brenda; grandson Marcus Richardson; and dog, Boxer,

She is survived by her sons, John and Ken Bertelsen, and stepsons Mark, Craig and Brett Butterfield, as well as many other loving family members.

She worked for many years as a measurement technician for Northern Natural Gas Co.

After moving to Farmington to retire, she helped to raise three of her grandchildren. She loved walking her dog, Boxer, in the many parks of Farmington. She enjoyed golf, swimming, watching football and attending sporting events of her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
